An Update from Yearn Developer Andre Cronje
There has been much speculation about the status of Yearn Developer Andre Cronje, and he took to Twitter this week to give an update. Andre hasn’t left and is still developing, but he is no longer using Twitter or social media. Builders will continue to build.
Curve Strategy Vulnerability Patched
This weekend, Artem (aka Banteg) announced that a vulnerability in all Curve yVault strategies had been discovered and patched. Migration to the new StrategyProxy has already occurred, and no user funds are at risk. Read the full disclosure here.
yInsure Competition Submissions Due This Week
As mentioned last week, submissions for new artwork that will be the face of yInsure opens on October 15th 12:00am UTC time and will run until October 17th 12:00am UTC time (48 hours).
Participants should submit two images: One image for all insurance under 100 ETH, and another image for insurance over 100 ETH. Tweet your submission with the hashtag #yRari to @iearnfinance and @rariblecom. The winner of the competition will receive 2,000 yUSD. More information can be found here.
Community Created Front-End for Governance Rewards
You can now claim governance rewards here, using a community-built front-end. Alternatively, if you’d prefer to claim directly from the smart contract, simply navigate to the contract on Etherscan, connect your web3 wallet, and call the getReward function.
A New Home for YFI Pulse
YFI Pulse created by Yearn communications member, Jigsaw, now has a new home. This newsletter is published Monday through Friday with a weekend edition on Sunday. Subscribe for daily updates on everything related to Yearn.
